Thursday finds us moving further north into the Upper Peninsula where we find part of RV travel is accepting that there will be challenges along the way.
We have to be careful where we turn because backing up is the last thing you want to do. Often parks are along busy highways and we get little sleep. The ground can be soft and muddy. But like most things, you give up to get.
Being wise about choices is key to enjoying the life. When we got ready to leave, the awning on the Baker’s RV would not roll in due to a faulty motor. Several attempts to correct this left us with a temporary fix that did not hold when we got on the road.
Roadside repairs can be dangerous as the picture shows Dan and Ed on the roof trying to get it more stable for travel. We did get underway again shortly after they removed the canvas from the rails. A repair for another day. Seems like there is always something to repair. Ed and I are traveling without a furnace. That is our repair for another day.
